THE JACK BRUCE FOOL VI TRIBUTE

The companion piece to Eric Clapton’s “Fool” SG, Jack Bruce’s enigmatic and stylish psychedelic Fender Bass VI has never quite received the same level of attention as Eric’s SG, probably due to Jack’s association with the guitar for only a short period of time (during the recording of “Disraeli Gears”). Jack had been using his Fender Bass VI for some period of time prior to having it refinished but varied between various guitars during his time with CREAM, making the “Fool” VI quite a rare piece of kit.

Crafted featuring a baritone scale neck, Jack was able to achieve truly incredible riff speed during classic tracks such as “SWABLR” as well as smooth, sensitive rhythms to be found on both “We’re Going Wrong” and “World of Pain”.

Forever a companion to the “Fool” SG, this beautiful tribute offers a unique opportunity for guitarists, both Bass players and 6-string players alike, to share in this cult classic and claim a little piece of history once enjoyed by one of the greatest rhythm & blues bass guitarist of the all time.
